Save First, Save Second

Save, save, save, save

As Bo Sanchez advised in one of the Wealth Strategies sent t the Truly Rich Club members.

Save First, Save Second

Importance of saving

Bo emphasize the 70/30 rule. Live on the 70% of your income while the 30% will be broken down into 10% tithe, 10% emergency fund, and 10% for future fund.

In my case I am a teacher in one of the state university of the Philippines. being single at the time when I first practice these rules of 70/30 as advised in the Truly Rich Club. I tithe. I set-up an emergency fund savings account which unfortunately always run-out every time my salary is not enough for other stuff.
The other 10% is being invested in the Philippine stock market. being a teacher of Ecology, Stock market is not in my vocabulary. but anyway with so much confidence from Bo Sanchez. I downloaded the COL form for opening an account. being Truly Rich Club member we always got stock updates when to buy and when to sell. Even if I don't know anything that happening in the Philippine stock market, I just invest. And is not enjoy looking at the growth of my investments. Although I'm still far from the seven digit figures, I know that I'm on my way.

By the way yesterday I talked about the promo we had in our grocery store, the first winner was soo happy. She never though of receiving a gift on her birthday.. When I have a faster internet connection which is happening very soon maybe next week I will make a facebook page for our grocery store so the winners will be posted every single week.

Acting in spite of fear

Thoughts lead to feelings, feelings lead to actions, actions leads to results.

Real action is the cure to a lean purse. Take action, beat inaction. Action is the bridge between the inner world (thought, feelings) and the outer world (results). So if action is very important what then prevents us from making action?

Fear!
Fear
Fear, doubt & worry are among the greatest obstacles to success. The rich people act in spite of fear, both the rich & poor people feel the fear. But only those who act despite of the fear achieves real success. They just don't let these feelings stop them.

As Harv Eker says "If you are going to let a three-hour drive of a three hour flight or a three day trek stop you from doing something you need and want to do, then what else will stop you? The answer: Anything. Anything will stop you. Not because of the size of the challenge but because of the size of you.

One must choose: If you the person who will be stopped or the person who is unstoppable? If you want real wealth or real success, you have to be a warrior. You must be willing to do whatever it takes. Train yourself not to be stopped by anything.

The road to success is never convenient, and is not easy. If you are willing to do only what's easy, life will be hard. But if you are willing to do whats hard, life will be easy.

In the beginning everything is uncomfortable, growth can only come if you are uncomfortable hence expanding your comfort zone.

We must train ourselves to do whatever it takes(as long as it does not compromises integrity & honesty) , and to act in spite of anything that might be on your way even fear.

When I joined the Truly Rich Club of Bo Sanchez I was fearful that it might not be worthy with the cost that I will spend. However, I am thankful that I was able to act in spite of the fear that I felt. Now I am earning from the stock market. It is through the Club that I learned how to make my money work for me.

Being frugal is being an earth saver.

To save money or to be frugal means we are also taking part in saving the earth.

Every time we buy something we are not only consuming the item and other things that goes with it. All of those activity from the extraction of the raw materials to the process of manufacturing to produce say for example your flat screen TV are included in the price it cost you.

However, consciously or unconsciously we are not aware that during the process of manufacturing that certain product their are environmental cost that are not included like the pollution and waste it produces. We the consumers are the one paying and suffering for- the effects of pollution that lead to lung diseases, cancer, respiratory problems desertification, flooding, etc.

Every time we get money from our pocket we are helping the planet to look what it is now- and the way it will look in the coming generations. According to Pogo " We have meet the enemy and he is us". We should not be puzzled why the planet is polluted. we are the very culprit because of our demand for more, better and different stuff.

Saving money then is a major thing we can do for ourselves and mother earth. A form of creative frugality - for our wallets and our world.

The kinds of changes we may all need to keep  the environment viable will require some deliberate and courageous modifications of our current habits.

we must be active to choose a non-polluting pleasure and have twice the fulfillment- We must always remember that anything you buy and don't use, anything  you throw away, anything you consume and don't enjoy is money down the drain and wasting the finite resources of the planet.

Frugality then is one sure way to help build a better world.

I have deliberately minimize my attitude towards consumerism, I am now learning to invest my money in the Philippine stocks. A sure way to accumulate money in the future.
